How do you define “home”? When you hear or speak the word, what do you think of? As my 24th birthday quickly approaches, I’ve been thinking a lot about how I define the environments I feel most comfortable in & what role I want the sense of feeling home to play in my upcoming adventures. Over the past twenty-three years of my life, I’ve experienced various reactions related to the idea of home but have always come back to the same reaction: safety. Home is a place I can relax; a place I can feel totally alive but not feel pressured to be anything other than myself. Home is a feeling I hope I never get tired of.
